The Scunthorpe chairmen Steve Wharton has spoken to the local paper regarding new stadium plans. One proposal has already been rejected but these updated plans are thought to be more promising.
Wharton told the Scunthorpe Telegraph;
'I thought it right to have one final look to what the possibility of relocation to a new stadium would be."
'Because the cost we are talking about with the proposed development is so high it would be many years before the club was able to look at the question of relocating again.
'All we are doing at the moment is just seeing what other alternatives there are before we go ahead with the development already being planned.'
