Football League 2017's Awards Begin

Football League 2017's Awards Begin

The Football League have confirmed that the 12th annual EFL Awards will take place on April 9.

The Awards ceremony takes place on Sunday April 9 at The Hilton Hotel on Park Lane, London at 14 Awards will be handed out on the evening to celebrate various achievements in the 2016/17 campaign.

The 14 categories will be decided upon by leading experts from the football and media industry.

The categories this year are:

Community Club of the Year
PFA Player in the Community
Family Club of the Year
LFE Apprentice of the Year
Supporter of the Year
Goal of the Year
Players of the Year (one per division)
Young Player of the Year
Team of the Season
Sir Tom Finney Award
Contribution to League Football

The shortlists for the awards and fuller details will be announced in the coming weeks as the end of the season draws nearer to an end.
