Laws - Draw Felt Like Defeat

Brian Laws has said the one all draw with Dagenham felt like a defeat at the final whistle.

Speaking to the Official Site after after seeing us take the lead with only a few minutes remaining, and then conceding late into stoppage time, Laws explained.

'It almost feels like a defeat and make no mistake we are all disappointed about that. We struggled to break them down, that obviously gave them some confidence but then when we did take the lead we really should have had enough to see the game out. Sadly we didn't. But we'll learn from it and there are things we can go back and work on.'

Laws also said it would be unfair to blame the lack of a victory on Chris Iwelumo's missed penalty as that wasn't the only reason we didn't win the game and apportioning blame wouldn't be the right thing to do here.
