'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Dawson Delighted With Brigg Start

Andy Dawson says his return to wearing the Scunthorpe shirt couldn't have gone better following our 7-1 victory over Brigg Town.

Speaking to the Official Site Dawson also said that it was fantastic that the manager managed to give so many players a good 45 minutes as that will really help bring them on in their fitness work.

'It's a good start, with 45 minutes in everybody's legs, and that's the main thing. Obviously it was a very difficult day, as it was red hot.'

Dawson adds that for some players it could've been 10 or 12 week since they last played a semi competitive game so to get a half is very important for a player when they are coming back to peak fitness.
