'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Laws Delighted With Sparrow Return

Brian Laws has said that the re-capture of Matty Sparrow will give the club a huge boost both on and off the pitch in the coming seasons.

Speaking to the Official Site after all the details were struck on the deal, Laws said.

'The signing itself is brilliant for the football club. We've talked about bringing people in that have got something to feel for this club and there's where the success has been driven from before. They have a close relationship with the supporters and there's that feel good factor around the place and Matt coming in has just epitomised it and embraced it. Not only that, you've got a good footballer.'

Laws says that in all honesty he's amazed we managed to get him back because he's a better player than League Two but Sparrow wants to be part of something again and that played heavily in our favour.
