Relatively Quiet So Far
Brian Laws has admitted that he has already been priced out of a few targets, but he's working through his list patiently as he's pleased with the behind the scenes work taking place so far.
Speaking to the Official Site the boss explained it had been relatively quiet so far, but it's early days with players at the moment and he expects it to get a lot busier as the weeks tick by.
'It's been quiet, but that's to be expected. Agents are jostling to put forward proposals, but in terms of making any decisions it's very early days.'
Laws says that at the minute the focus is on keeping the players we want to, because then once he has a better idea of the make up of the squad for next season, he can then plug gaps and add quality from the market.
He says it will be a patient summer mostly because he wants to add key quality and not quantity, but he has had positive talks with two players who would bring considerable experience to the pitch, and to the dressing room but nothing is set in concrete with them yet.
