Hobson Keen To Meet Swann

Dennis Hobson has said he might get along perfectly well with Peter Swann, and they both might be the perfect duo to take this club forward.

Following all the confusion following Steve Wharton's resignation from the role of Chairman, Hobson told This Is Scunthorpe that he was keen to meet with Peter Swann, especially as he wonders if 'others' are trying to put a wedge between them before they've even shook hands.

'Me and him might get on, we might be the people to take the club forward. I haven't got a problem, I'll speak to him. My door is open, my phone line is open. I'm sure he'll have some forward thinking ideas - I know I have - the more of those the better. If he wants to come on the board, no problem. Let's move this club forward.'

Hobson says that unfortunately the situation is already messy, and he fears it will only get messier when there's no reason for it to, and whilst the club have still to comment on the exact happenings so far, maybe if Hobson and Swann can find an accord, we can plan for the new campaign without any further distractions?
