Scunthorpe Release Seven Players

The team for our next campaign is taking shape, and the club have released seven players.

Josh Walker, Paul Reid, Damien Mozika, Akpo Sodje, Andy Barcham, Robbie Gibbons, Karl Hawley have all been released.

The club have excercised the options they held on Niall Canavan, Mark Duffy and Callum Howe.

They have also offered new contracts to the following six players.

Jimmy Ryan, James Severn, Matt Godden, Eddie Nolan, Michael Collins and Tom Newey.

Jamie Wootton, Luke Hornsey and George Grayson are our new first year professionals and Sam Slocombe, Christian Ribeiro, Callum Kennedy, David Mirfin, Mike Grella and Connor Jennings remain under contract for the coming season.

A couple of interesting departures there, you would assume down to money.
