'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Laws Highlights Glanford Park As Key For Next Term

Brian Laws has said that the club and fans have to come together once more to turn Glanford Park back into the fortress it used to be, as simply put our home form is awful.

Speaking to the Official Site Laws explained that he felt as the fans did following our relegation, but he was putting plans in place to make sure this club returned to one of growth and entertainment - as that is something that has been lacking in his mind for a while.

'It has been depressing for the last three years since they were in the Championship. I feel for them I really do, I am like a supporter in that I have great affection for this club. We have got to regroup and we need to give this club back to the supporters.'

Laws says that the club and supporters have seperated in recent years and that divide needs to be fixed if we are to progress again, but he did say the fans would need to be patient as there is a lot of hard work to be done.

'Over the past three season the fans just have not seen enough wins, at home. That has to be addressed, that is one of the major problems. There will be a lot of hard work to do over the summer in order to try and rebuild but we need some patience as well.'

Adding.

'Glanford Park has always been a fortress and we have to reignite that. That is where Scunthorpe has always based their positivity and that is where we need to start from.'
