Canavan Did Break His Nose

Brian Laws has confirmed that Niall Canavan did break his nose in the defeat to Bury.

Speaking to the Official Site the gaffer explained.

'Niall has broken his nose and that's why he came off. That was a major body blow for us because Niall has been performing well. He is going to have surgery on that straight away because it's completely smashed. For me he is one of the players that have actually shown any bravery at the football club so I feel for him and we will definitely miss him for the next couple of games.'

Basically Laws confirms that Canavan won't play again this season, so joins Callum Kennedy, Damien Mozika and Josh Walker on the sidelines.

He could be a huge loss for us in the remaining games, and Laws certainly isn't getting any breaks at the minute.
