Another Home Win For Scunthorpe

Scunthorpe 2-1 Crawley
9th February 2013
15:00
Glanford Park

Having recorded only one home with this time last week Scunthorpe have now recorded back-to-back wins at Glanford Park. On Tuesday they beat Portsmouth on Saturday Crawley to boost the League One survival hopes.

Scunthorpe dominated the opening half but despite numerous chances couldn't force the breakthrough, so the sides went into the break level.

Minutes into the second half former Scunthorpe favourite Matthew Sparrow (48) forced a breakthrough for Crawley though.

Jimmy Ryan (67) drew Scunthorpe level at the midway point of the second half with the visitors then denied by the bar, however it was Niall Canavan (79) who headed home late on to give The Iron a 2-1 win.
