Blades cut through Iron

Sheffield United 3-0 Scunthorpe
26th December 2012
15:00
Bramall Lane

Scunthorpe were beaten by promotion chasing Sheffield United at Bramall Lane on Boxing Day.

The day started badly for The Iron with Shaun Miller (4) opening the scoring for Sheffield United early on, however only the woodwork denied the visitors an equaliser before the break.

Dave Kitson (56) doubled the lead early in the second half with a 3-0 win for The Blades wrapped up late on with Nick Blackman (84) scoring from the penalty spot.
