Laws offers apology for comments

Brian Laws has issued an apology for comments that he made following the weekend defeat to Doncaster.

After this 4-0 defeat Laws told BBC Radio Humberside that the defending from his Scunthorpe team was "as bad as the Holocaust", which is hardly an appropriate comment to make is it!

Laws has, rightly so, issued and official apology with this statement made on the official website: 'I would like to apologise. The use of the word was not intended to cause offence and was used in the heat of the moment.

'It was a poor choice of language to define those emotions and wasn't meant in the true meaning of the word.'
