Dominant second half destroys Iron

Doncaster 4-0 Scunthorpe
24th November 2012
15:00
The Keepmoat Stadium

A dominant second half showing from Doncaster saw Scunthorpe heavily beaten in the end to leave The Iron's recent revival well and truly forgotten.

Midway through the first half Doncaster took the lead when Martin Woods' pressure on Christian Ribeiro (22) saw him turn into his own net.

Immediately after the restart Doncaster extended their lead when David Cotterill (46) scored. Two goals in two-minutes from Rob Jones (62) and Billy Paynter (64) saw the lead grow even further.

Only a goal line clearance prevented a fifth from being scored but 4-0 was more than enough for the hosts.
