Scunthorpe setback against Bury

Scunthorpe 1-2 Bury
20th November 2012
19:45
Glanford Park

Scunthorpe's impressive league run since Brian Laws return was ended with Bury winning a relegation battle at Glanford Park on Tuesday night.

A deflected Steven Schumacher (12) freekick gave Bury an early lead, with that strike enough to send the visitors into the break ahead.

It didn't take Scunthorpe long to draw level after the restart, Leon Clarke (52) continuing his impressive goalscoring form to draw the hosts level.

Bury soon retook the lead though, Troy Hewitt (54) restoring the visitors lead minutes later with that goal enough to secure them a 2-1 win.
