Ellington joins Scunthorpe

Nathan Ellingham has joined Scunthorpe on loan from Ipswich, having struggled to make an impact on their first-team this season.

The 31-year-old has played only twice for Ipswich this season, the last of these appearances came back in September so probably didn't take much convincing to join The Iron on loan for an initial one-month spell.

Ellington has struggled for form for a number of years now really, rarely living up to the prolific form (and ability) shown during his time with Wigan some years back but if he can perform anything like he's capable of then this move should very much be to Scunthorpe's advantage!
