The Iron 1-1 Brentford

13th October 2012
15:00
Glanford Park

Scunthorpe ended a run of three straight defeats when they draw with Brentford at Glanford Park on Saturday.

Brentford could have been ahead just after the half hour but Clayton Donaldson missed from the penalty spot but Harry Forrester (43) made up for this just before the break to see the visitors into the lead ahead.

That missed penalty came back to haunt Brentford with Leon Clarke (77) drawing Scunthorpe level late on, scoring his sixth goal in eight games.

The points were shared with this 1-1 draw but The Iron ended with 10-men after David Mirfin was sent off late on when he picked up his second booking.
