The Iron v Tranmere

2nd October 2012
19:45
Glanford Park

An unbeaten run of four-games came to an end for Scunthorpe on Saturday, on Tuesday night they look to get up and running again but face league leaders Tranmere at Glanford Park.

Scunthorpe could see Sam Slocombe (dead leg) return, he was forced off midway through the first half of the defeat at Portsmouth with James Severn coming on. His replacement did make a penalty save though so might retain his place in goal.

Paul Reid (hand) returned to the bench at the weekend having sat out the season so far, he's likely to remain there. Callum Kennedy is another short of fitness with Damien Mozika (ankle) and Michael Collins (tendonitis) long-term absentees.

James Wallace (leg), Andy Robinson (groin) and Ben Gibson (calf) are all expected to miss out for Tranmere. Other than this Tranmere don't have any other major injury, or suspension, concerns.
