Looking to continue the run of four games unbeaten Scunthorpe head to the South Coast to face struggling Portsmouth at Fratton Park on Saturday afternoon.
Luke Rodgers (thigh) is out for Portsmouth, which leaves them with just one recognised striker but with Kevin Long returning to his parent club Burnley after a loan a new arrival could come in to fill the void.
Josh Thompson (hamstring) was believed to be facing a spell on the sidelines but this hasn't been confirmed yet but Alex Grant (knee) is definitely out for the hosts.
Scunthorpe's unbeaten run has coincided with the loan arrival of Leon Clarke from Charlton, he has four goals in as many games in this four game unbeaten run The Iron are on so he'll again be leading the line.
Chris Sedgwick could force himself into the starting XI but Paul Reid (hand) is lacking fitness so isn't expected to return with Damien Mozika (ankle) and Michael Collins (tendonitis) missing out again.
