Paul Reid has been believed to be "close to a return" for a number of weeks now, yet this return hasn't quite materialised.
Having had metal plates removed from his hand a couple of weeks back, and undertaking some "light strengthening exercises", the 30-year-old has now been given the go ahead to return to full training.
The Iron captain might not be ready to start this weekend but could well come into contention, finally, for a place in the squad?
