Unity the key
After a disappointing start to the season Mike Grella, as he told BBC Radio Humberside, knows that it's important that unity is shown by Scunthorpe.
The summer signing knows that the current plight is "unacceptable" but, with all "feeling down", he is sure that things can turnaround for The Iron: 'Everyone's feeling really down right now so we have to pull together and get some results.
'This is unacceptable and we have to turn it around.
'I have full confidence in the group and in the manager. We can't put it down to luck, we have to lift our level and start getting results.'
The American certainly talks a good talk and if actions can follow this, from him and others, Scunthorpe will not go far wrong!
It's a cup game but if Scunthorpe can get a positive result this evening in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy perhaps this can finally kick-start their season, which has seen them lose all four of their league one games and left them at the foot of the table.
