Winless sides clash
Hartlepool v Scunthorpe
Hartlepool and Scunthorpe are both still seeking a first league one victory of the new season; this could change when the sides meet at Victoria Park this weekend. What has to be taken into account is the fact that the home side have only played two games though!
Having made his debut from the bench in midweek new loan signing David Prutton is in contention for a place in the starting XI for Scunthorpe.
Paul Reid (broken hand) is still out with Alan Knill also having to content without having Callum Kennedy (toe), Damien Mozika (ankle) and Michael Collins (tendonitis) available for selection.
Neil Austin (calf) is poised to boost Hartlepool by returning from injury but Andy Rafferty (knee) is absent, the keeper is the hosts' only injury problem though.
