Prutton in on a three-month loan
In an attempt to improve the fortunes at Scunthorpe Alan Knill has brought in David Prutton.
After helping Sheffield Wednesday to promotion to the Championship last season the 30-year-old doesn't look to have a future with The Owls and has joined The Iron on an initial three-month loan deal.
Prutton has the experience, and quality (having played at the top level), to be successful at Glanford Park so should prove a decent signing.
The midfielder came straight into the Scunthorpe squad for Tuesday nights Capital One Cup clash with Norwich, being named on the bench.
