Scunthorpe seek Norwich shock

Norwich v Scunthorpe

Scunthorpe's season hasn't got up and running at all and should they manage a Capital One Cup win over Norwich tonight it would be some achievement. Should The Iron pull this off though it could kick-start their season, when it would have been hoped the dramatic win over Derby in the last round would have!

Paul Reid (broken hand) could return for Scunthorpe with Alan Knill poised to make changes following another weekend defeat. The likes of Callum Howe, Tom Newey, Jordan Keegan and Andy Barcham could all force their way into the starting XI.

New Norwich signing Alexander Tettey could make his debut but Elliott Bennett (knee) will be out for a month. Injury will keep out Steven Whittaker, Jacob Butterfield, David Fox and Elliott Ward also.

Scunthorpe have only managed to score once against Norwich in the last four meetings, losing three in the process. This is the first ever league cup meeting between the sides with The Iron going into this having failed to ever knock out a topflight club, maybe tonight could be the night?
