Double arrival close
Mark Hughes and Jordan Keegan have been enjoying a successful trial with Scunthorpe this pre-season and their arrivals have "been close" for a number of days now.
Alan Knill, as he told the official website, thinks that it is just "a matter of time" before this now.
The Irish teenagers have made quite an impression on him during pre-season though: 'I think we're really close with them.
'It's not quite signed, but we've got some draft contacts and it's just a matter of time really. Hopefully it will all be done early this week.
'For 19, they are pretty good players and showed no fear whatsoever. Both came on and really wanted the ball. They did well and they're ones for the future.'
Not only are they "ones for the future" you would expect them to be for the here and now too and there's every chance they will be, once their arrivals are 100% signed, sealed and delivered!
