Mirfin returns
David Mirfin has returned to Scunthorpe on a permanent basis following his release by Watford.
Mirfin's contract with Watford has been cancelled by mutual consent to leave him free to return to Glanford Park following his loan return last season.
A change of ownership, and manager, at Watford was going to make it tough for the 27-year-old to make an impact this season so it was best he moved on and returning to The Iron for keeps is a good thing all-round!
They often say "never return" although I am sure Mirfin will prove an exception over the next two-years, at least.
