Scunthorpe to sign Keegan and Hughes
Keegan and Hughes are famous names in British football, although it is neither of these (obviously) coming to Glanford Park.
The namesakes of Mr's Keegan and Hughes are Jordan and Mark respectively, and no (as Alan Knill points out) not the Mark Hughes formerly of Barnet!
Both joined The Iron during their pre-season tour of Ireland on trial and impressed the Scunthorpe manager suitably for him want to bring them to the club on a permanent basis with deals "close" to being agreed.
A defender is also a "priority" for Knill with the season less than a month away from kicking-off.
