They say that 'money talks' and on the face of it is seems this is the case with Jon Parkin following his move to Fleetwood?
30-year-old Parkin left Cardiff by mutual consent earlier this week and this could have seen him move to Scunthorpe following his loan spell last season.
A stumbling block was thought to be his wages, for him to have joined league two new boys he must have been offered more money than The Iron could have?
Reports say that the striker rejected a move to Scunthorpe with league one rivals Coventry also turned down.
